Bright House Networks Introduces New Features for Bright House TV App

Bright House Networks today announced that has launched a variety of new interactive features and channels for its Bright House TV App (BHTV). The app, which allows viewers to watch live streaming television anywhere within their homes on their Apple iPads, iPhones, 3rd and 4th generation iPod Touch and select Android Smartphone and Tablet devices, is available for download to Bright House Networks customers at no additional charge.
The Bright House TV App now features a new Interactive Program Guide (IPG) offering users easy navigation through up to seven days of program listings and extensive search capabilities. Bright House Networks customers can also now use the app to remotely schedule and manage their DVR recordings.
The Bright House TV App features more than one hundred channels on a variety of programming networks, including NFL Network, HBO, Cinemax, Starz, Showtime, The Movie Channel, A&E, Discovery, Lifetime, Cartoon Network, SyFy, CNN, Disney Channel, TLC, History, Travel Channel, USA, AMC and many more. The company also recently added TWC Sports Network, TWC Deportes, BBC America, BBC World News, TV Guide Network HD, and TV One HD.
To utilize the Bright House TV App, Bright House Networks customers can download the app from the Apple iTunes store or Google Play. Once the app is downloaded, viewers can access Bright House TV directly from their device’s touchscreen by tapping the icon and entering their Bright House Networks My Services username and password. The channels available on the app are based on the channels the customers currently receive as part of their Bright House Networks TV service. Customers must also have a High Speed Internet connection and a wireless router to use the Bright House TV App. The app is available at no additional charge to Bright House Networks video customers.
