Start Over Provides Customers Convenience and ControlBack
Bright House Networks customers can now enjoy the very popular Start Over service on 10 additional channels including CNN, Speed, Discovery, Animal Planet, Bravo, Travel Channel, Food Network, truTV, Oxygen and National Geographic.
Start Over is an exclusive enhanced TV feature for Bright House Networks customers that allows viewers to re-start a live program from the beginning anytime during its scheduled broadcast. With the latest additions Start Over now includes 30 channels, with more on the way.
Start Over is a dynamic and innovative feature that is convenient and easy to use. It is available to all Bright House Networks digital cable customers with converters. There is no additional fee and no extra equipment is required for Start Over. Bright House Networks customers have used the Start Over feature on more than 3 million shows since it was first launched in late January 2010.
“Start Over makes the viewing experience more enjoyable, and it has proven to be a popular feature with our customers since we launched it at the beginning of this year,” said Chris Fenger, President of Bright House Networks Central Florida Division. “The latest addition of 10 channels will enhance the value of the service by making even more popular programming available at the customers’ convenience.”
Whether customers tune in five minutes late or five minutes before the program ends, with Start Over, they can still jump back to the beginning of a program. Once the show has “Started Over,” Bright House Networks customers can then rewind, pause, and resume at any time during the broadcast, giving them even more control to enjoy television on their schedule.
In order to use Start Over, customers simply press the SELECT button on their remote control either when the Start Over prompt appears on the screen or at any time during the scheduled broadcast.
