Fans Gain Access to Most In-Depth Coverage of College Sports
On New Bright House Sports Network
ORLANDO (Nov. 14, 2008) - Bright House Networks and CBS College Sports Network have teamed up to begin showing more local college games on its new Bright House Sports Network. Bright House Sports Network, which launched in September on channel 47, in the Central Florida and Tampa Bay markets, now has exclusive rights to produce and air select University of Central Florida college football games, men’s and women’s basketball as well as multiple UCF Olympic sports. Additionally, Bright House Sports Network also will air other Conference USA teams and Navy football contests.
CBS College Sports Network will move to Bright House Networks Digital Basic service, making Conference USA games, including those involving UCF teams, more widely available to fans. Bright House Sports Network will begin the enhanced UCF sports coverage by airing live the Nov. 15, 2008, Conference USA football game featuring UCF at Marshall. UCF live basketball coverage on Bright House Sports Network will begin Jan. 6, 2009, with the UCF Men’s Basketball team hosting Holy Cross, and continues Jan. 25 with the UCF Women’s Basketball team at Houston.
