Craig Cowden Named New Vice President and General Manager, Business Operations and Support Services for Bright House Networks

SYRACUSE, NY (May 6, 2009) – Craig Cowden has been named Vice President and General Manager, Business Operations and Support Services for Bright House Networks.  Cowden is responsible for leading the existing Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) business operations in Tampa. In addition, Bright House Networks is in the process of converging end-to-end service delivery and business operations support for fiber based business customers at Bright House Networks Information Services (BHNIS). Craig will play a leadership role in transitioning the support function and overall operations on an ongoing basis.  Cowden will report to Kashif Haq, Strategic Execution Officer (SEO) of Bright House Networks.

“Cowden brings over 15 years of experience and a proven track record of success in carrier operations, which will be invaluable in meeting company goals and objectives,” said Haq.

Prior to accepting this position, Cowden served as Vice President of Network Service Delivery and Vice President of Cable/VoIP Service Delivery for Sprint.

Cowden has an M.B.A in Finance and Marketing from the University of Kansas and a B.Sc. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.  Craig currently lives in Overland Park, Kansas and will be moving his family to Tampa. Cowden is married and has three sons.
